Phones for Heroes closed at the end of 2011. Please do not send in any phones after January 31st 2012. Any phones sent in before this date will be processed in the normal way and 60% of proceeds will go to Help for Heroes. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that phones posted to us after this date will reach us.

The Phones for Heroes appeal was run in support of the charity Help for Heroes. The aim being to turn the UK's millions of unwanted mobile phones into funds for our Heroes.
Funds were generated by collecting donated mobile phones and refurbishing and reselling them where possible. Help for Heroes received 60% of the proceeds after allowing for collection, delivery and ancillary expenses. These funds went to aid the tremendous work being done to provide support to our servicemen and women injured in the service of their country.
After running for two years, Phones for Heroes came to a close at the end of 2011. The project raised just under £45,000 for our wounded servicemen and women.
The freepost address remains running for a short period into 2012 to acommodate late donations. Any phones recieved during this time will be processed in the standrd way and 60% of any proceeds given to Help for Heroes. Phones for Heroes have been proud to support such a worthwhile charity.
